The secondary curriculum designed at Bogaerts International School North Campus builds from the learning targets in our primary years curriculum and increments in rigor and sophistication in every year to build up preparation for the IB Diploma. The BIS North Campus secondary curriculum is intentionally interdisciplinary, and all secondary students experience interdisciplinary learning in each year of instruction.
The interdisciplinary experiences in each year are framed by the affinity of the conceptual understandings from the subjects that collaborate. Learning is designed to develop awareness and understanding of the connections across subject areas and can be brough to fruition through the combination or integration of knowledge, skills, conceptual understanding, and ways of thinking and working.
To support students’ development as individuals and citizens, Bogaerts International School North Campus has developed and integrated an advisory program framed around the following topics.
