I want to create a culture of learning where the voice of every education who wants to share insights, reflections, challenges and aspirations has a forum. I want to create a culture of learning and collaboration where the way in which members of the community are bringing our mission and vision to fruition is exemplified.
I want to welcome ideas and dreams to design a culture of learning, collaboration and reflection in which I take the seat of the teacher or the student and not the pedagogical Director only. I want to embrace new ways of doing things to shape a culture of learning, collaboration, reflection and growth where the intentional contributions members of the community make are recognised and honoured.
I want to be part of a culture of learning, collaboration, growth, and impact where there is a transparent and humble environment that shows how the progress made, however big or small, is the result of everyone efforts, contributions, questions and intentions.
This blog post is dedicated to my team of pedagogues who welcomed the idea of leading a session on our in-school PD day. Before they had some time do personal work, asses work or plan, we all had the chance to engage in collaborative dialogue and reflection that was ignited by the insights shared by colleagues who shared their expertise, passions, personal inquiries, and efforts.
May this experience be the reference that, when we know we are thriving in that culture of learning, collaboration, reflection, growth, and impact, we acknowledge that what we will have then did not happen in isolation.
